Mr. Riff
is a Senior Associate with an extensive background in automotive,
wireless, and semiconductor long-range technology. He has been involved
with TIER ONE's research of multiplex systems, system-module cost
analysis and benchmarking studies. Most recent corporate experience
was directing semiconductor development and market analysis for ITS
advanced vehicle communications systems and controls for major OEM
users. During his careers, he was instrumental in developing automotive
systems electronics, including sensors, wireless data systems, collision
radar, and electric vehicle power management. He was responsible for
global marketing of Land Mobile Communications Systems, manager of
advanced semiconductor technology for Wireless Subscriber Systems
and headed a task group for advanced program development between semiconductor
and a wireless communications in Latin America, Europe, and Asia for
technical growth in advanced communication requirements. He has an
MSEE in Physics from Bringham Young University, and holds FCC and
SCCA licenses.
